Gunther’s Fury
“Gunther, be a dear and demonstrate your power,” Mine the Abhorrent said casually. The four men that surrounded Mine at the bar were confused. They looked to one another unsure of who he was speaking to.
“Aye,” a purplish-blue plush beaver with a bicorne hat grumbled as he stepped from behind Mine.
The four men started to laugh and the patrons of the bar joined them. Gunther looked back to Mine and he shrugged.
“Just give’em a taste dear.”
Gunther cleared his throat and silence fell, “Me name be Gunther Geloof, first mate of the Hummingbirds. Who be the proprietor of this here establishment?”
The bartender raised his hand.
Mine snapped and the man disappeared, he snapped again with a look of pure bliss.
“We’ll pay fer the damages,” Gunther said, the bartender waved him off.
“Tear the house down for all I care,” he said.
The four men looked at the bartender then back to Gunther. He tilted his head side to side and glared at them. A milky aura appeared around him, spiderweb like cracks spread out in every direction.
Mine simply raised his feet and continued to stir his mint tea with his candy cane with a deviant smile plastered across his face.
The patrons started to scramble to the exit as the cracks spread to the walls. Gunther looked to the four men and asked, “You want to know what we do? We pillage villages, steal for the thrill, invade for entertainment. We pollinate chaos and destruction everywhere we go! Why? The answers simple in fact...”
The earth around Gunther exploded, the four walls of the establishment was reduced to dust as Gunther roared to the heavens. The earth around him started to rise, his aura filled the cracks in the ground like a raging ocean. His fury boiled over and he roared...
“Because we be Pirates!”
